Publishing a workbook to IDM

With this procedure, you can publish the current workbook to IDM during a data send process, for example, a Ledger data send.

  1. Open Q&A Cloud Excel Add-In.
  2. On the Query and Analysis tab, click Data Send.
  3. In the Data Send window, specify these fields in the Definition grid:
    Product
    Select SunSystems Cloud.
    Business Unit
    Select a business unit.
    Definition
    Select the Data Send definition.
  4. If the IDM integration has been configured for the selected business unit and definition, verify that the IDM attributes are displayed in the Definition grid.

    Optionally, right-click a definition field and map the IDM attribute.

  5. Specify these fields to map the product fields to the fields in your worksheet:
    Error Cell
    Specify a cell in your worksheet to display any errors.
    Comment Cell
    Specify a cell in your worksheet to display any comments.
    Drillback Cell
    Specify a cell in your worksheet to display a clickable drillback link to the corresponding journal in SunSystems Cloud.
  6. Click the Options tab and select these check boxes:
    • Send to SunSystems
    • Send to IDM
  7. Click OK.
    The data is sent to SunSystems Cloud. After SunSystems Cloud returns the journal key, the workbook is uploaded to IDM. A confirmation or error message is displayed in the comment or error cell.
