Installing the Q&A Cloud client from machine level using command line

This topic describes machine level installation of Q&A Cloud Excel Add-in client software for the first time.

  1. Access your VDI environment as an administrator user.
  2. Access Infor OS Portal.
  3. Specify Query & Analysis in the search field and select it.
  4. Select the Download client installer and Download environment connection profile links to download the software and connection profile.
  5. Make sure you have uninstalled Q&A Cloud Excel Add-in client software.
    Verify if all files have been removed from C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Infor\QAA and C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Infor\Query and Analysis.
  6. Click the Windows Start button and specify cmd.
  7. Right click on Command Prompt and click Run as Administrator.
  8. Go to C:\Users\User\Downloads.
  9. Specify QAAClientSetup.exe /z"environment_connection_profile.json" LOCAL_MACHINE.
