Example of setting different levels for headers and subtotals
Complete the steps in this example to set different levels for headers and subtotals:
- Create a detail report and select these outputs: Account Code, Base Amount, Accounting Period, and CA/Description.
- Select Report Style > Designerto open Report Designer.

- In the Designer section, right-click and select Edit > Edit Sections. The Sections window is displayed.
- Select Header/Subtotal.
- Specify 2 in the Set Level field.
- Specify the expand status of Level 1 as Expand All.
- Specify the expand status of Level 2 as Collapse All.
- Specify the level for Account Code as Level 1.
- Specify the level for CA/Description as Level 1.
- Specify the level for Accounting Period as Level 2.

Click OK to generate the report.
