Setting filter options

When you specify a filter item, you can choose to refine your filter criteria. For example, to extract data where an item has a value greater than a specified amount.

The filter options available will depend on whether the data type of your item is numeric, time, or string.

To set filter options:

  1. Right-click the filter item and select Options.
  2. Specify a comparison operator. The default setting is None.
  3. If required, then select Case Insensitive.
  4. If required, then select Segment and specify the Offset and Length.
  5. Select a Mode. The default setting is Default.
  6. Click OK.
