Switching environments

The environment used by Query & Analysis Cloud includes server details, Infor Federation Services (IFS) authentication log on details, and the tenant type. Switching environments would normally be done to switch between production and pre-production environments to test new features that are added to the software before they are included in the live environment. After switching environments, if the versions are different then the client software is updated. You must then close and reopen Excel.

To switch between Q&A Cloud environments, follow these instructions:

  1. Access Microsoft Excel.
  2. Click Query & Analysis tab.
  3. Click Environments from the Misc. section of the ribbon bar.
  4. In the Environments window, select the required environment.
  5. Click Close.
  6. Click Logon to log on using your email and password.
