Migrate folder

Before you start, make sure that:
  • A folder contains only workbooks to be migrated.
  • Workbook or worksheet is not protected with a password.
  • Workbook status is not set to Read only.
  • All workbooks are closed and Excel has been reopened.
  1. Open Excel and log on to Q&A Cloud environment.
  2. Select Utilities > Migrate > Folder.
  3. Select a folder to migrate and click OK.
    The Report Migration dialog is displayed.
    The number of migrated workbooks are displayed.
    Folder migration functionality works for both Q&A 10 and Q&A 11.3. The migration log file and Q&A 10 and Q&A 11.3 workbooks are saved in a folder using the original file name followed with 'migrated' and datetime suffix. The original workbooks are kept unchanged. The folder name and log file link are displayed in a dialogue window once the migration is complete.
