Clearing the DataLink cache

Administrators can clear the DataLink control tag cache for the business application. This refreshes the application's control tag values that are displayed in Q&A Cloud.

For example, when a business unit is created in the business application, the administratror can clear the cache so the business unit is displayed in Q&A Cloud immediately.

Clearing the cache may initially affect the performance of queries in Q&A Cloud.

  1. Open the Query & Analysis Cloud client setup page.
  2. Click the DataLink Cache tab.
  3. Specify the DataLink and click Clear.
