Clearing the formats applied to cells

You can clear the formatting applied to a single cell, or you can select rows or columns and clear the formatting for the selection.

  1. Open a report design that includes lots of formatted cells.
  2. Make your cell selection.
    You can select a single cell, or a range of contiguous cells. Or, by clicking the Excel header or row number, you can select a complete column or row.
  3. Right-click the cell selection and select Clear > Clear Formats.
    Alternatively, you can click the Clear Formats button.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.
