Suppressing zeros in drilldown functions

You can suppress zeros in these drilldown functions:

  • Breakout
  • Summary Drilldown
  • Transaction Drilldown
  • Expand

To suppress zero values in analysis sheets generated by the Breakout or Transaction Drilldown functions, you can use the Suppress Zero option.

After zero suppression is applied, then zero values are suppressed automatically every time the query definition is run. If the query definition is changed, then zeros are no longer suppressed. If zero suppression is required then it must be selected again.

  1. Create a Summary Report and generate the report in Excel.
  2. Click one of these buttons in the Drilldown section:
    • Summary
    • Transaction
    • Breakout
    • Expand
  3. Add a field to the definition, for example, Currency Code.
  4. Click the Report Style tab.
  5. Select the Suppress Zero check box.
  6. Click OK.
