Setting up the Q&A Cloud client

This topic describes the steps to install the Q&A Cloud client software for the first time.

Note: Administrator rights are not needed to install the client software.
  1. Open the Query & Analysis Cloud client setup page.
  2. Select the Download client installer link to download the software.
  3. Run the installation program.
    After completing the installation the Q&A Cloud Excel add-in can be used.
  4. On the Query & Analysis Cloud client setup page, select the Download environment connection profile link to download the connection profile.
  5. Open Excel and select the Query and Analysis tab in the ribbon bar.
  6. Select Environments in the Options group.
  7. Click Import and navigate to the Downloads folder.
  8. Open the downloaded connection profile.
  9. Close the Environments screen and sign in to Q&A Cloud.
