Unlocking a user

You can unlock a user from the User Management window.

Super users can unlock all other users, including the system user. Admin users can unlock admin and non-admin users, but not Super users or the system user.

Note: Users are locked after five successive failed attempts to log in to Infor Query & Analysis. This includes attempts to log in to Q&A in Microsoft Excel, web-enabled User Management, and the server administration tools using the system user.
  1. Click the User Management tab on the Q&A DataLink Server web page.
  2. Select Manage User > Unlock User.
