Setting up user details

Follow these instructions to add users, user profiles, and your database connection.
  1. Open the Q&A DataLink Server Setup utility.
  2. Explode the Setup option and select Users.
    The list of users is displayed.

    The list details which user is accessing the application and on which computer.

  3. Click the Add icon from the Users menu.
    The User Details screen is displayed.
  4. Specify the required information.
  5. Click the Password button to create a password and define the password policy for the user.
  6. To automatically log in to Q&A select the User Security tab.
  7. Add the users Windows accounts into the Allocated Users.
  8. To specify the Q&A DataLink Server connection at login, select the DataLink Connection tab.
  9. Click Specify.
  10. Click OK to save your changes.
