Formula Import

Use the Formula Import utility to:

  • Duplicate a formula within the same worksheet
  • Transfer a formula to another application.

If Excel cells or names are referenced by the Data Filter Item in the formula, then they will replace the referenced filter criteria that is defined in the Query definition. The values are resolved when the formula is exported.

The formula must be exported from Query & Analysis Executive before it can be imported into Query & Analysis Excel.

  1. To import a definition from an application click the cell in which to import the formula.
  2. Select Utilities > Formula > Formula Import.
    The formula is imported into the cell.
