Web-enabled user management

User Management is a web-based administrative tool for Query & Analysis.

The features included are the same as for user management in the Q&A DataLink Server web page.

Reserved user profiles

The Super, Admin, SubAdmin and Guest reserved user profiles are installed with Q&A for use in the web-enabled User Management tool. Reserved profiles cannot be changed or deleted.

  • Super users can manage all users and can download the Excel client installer.
  • Admin users can manage all users apart from Super users, and can download the Excel client installer.
  • SubAdmin users can manage SubAdmin and normal users, but only with limited access. SubAdmin users can manage Unlock User, Clear User and Reset Password functions, and can download Excel client installer.
  • Guest users can download the Excel client installer.
