Setting the client setup

  1. From the General menu, select Client Setup. A list of installed DataLinks is displayed.
    The default DataLink is Q&A DataLink Server.
  2. Select a product.
  3. Specify the database connection details in the Connection Details section.
  4. Click Test Connection.
  5. If the connection test is successful, click Install. The Setup Wizard dialog box is displayed.
    Note: Install is optional depending on the product and product version selected.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Specify your user name and password.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Add.
  10. Click Save.
    Note: Click SSC URL on the Client Setup screen to specify the Data Send URL. This must be recorded before the Send to SunSystems option can be selected in the Data Send dialog.
