Summary Reports

Summary Reports return a summary of aggregated data, grouped by specific fields.

Summary Reports are a report definition, enabling you to design the presentation of the report using the Report Designer. Formulas for Summary Reports are prefixed with QAA_SR. Formulas can be saved within the workbook and copied to other locations in the workbook.

Summary Reports return a summary of aggregated data, grouped by specific fields. This is a more efficient method of extracting aggregated data than Summary Links. Using Excel functions like SUMIFS in the design of the report returns the same results as when Summary Links are used.

Summary Report drilldown functions are enabled in each report.

Summary Reports are a more efficient method of extracting aggregated data than Summary Links. Using Excel functions like SUMIFS in the design of the management reports using data that has been extracted using a Summary Report returns the results faster that when Summary Links are used in the report design.
