Authorized applications

There are two types of authorized application:

• O&R: An O&R authorized application is an alternative way to authenticate to the Infor Operations and Regulations site. When you add an O&R authorized app, Infor Operations and Regulations generates a client ID and a secret code that can be used for authentication. For example, a call to Rest Services or Web Services can use a client ID and secret instead of user credentials.
• API Gateway: API Gateway authorized applications store credentials for authorized apps in Infor API Gateway. Infor Operations and Regulations can then use the stored credentials to connect to other services through API Gateway.
