Client machines

This is the general process for setting up a client machine to function as a cash register.
  • Connect POS devices and install the device service objects.
  • Install the Infor device control.
  • Set up devices in the Infor Device Client Configuration utility.
  • Configure cash register hardware in Infor Operations and Regulations.

For an on-premises site, use the installer in the Infor Operations and Regulations ISO to install the device control. For a multi-tenant site, use the installer in the Infor Operations and Regulations SaaS toolkit.

The SaaS Toolkit is available at the Infor Product Download Center (https://infor.flexnetoperations.com). After logging in, click Infor SaaS Add-Ons, then Public Sector.

Before you install the device control, each client machine must meet these requirements:

  • Windows 10 or 11
  • 1 GHz CPU
  • 512MB RAM
  • 500 MB free disk space
  • Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 and v4.0
