For maintenance schedules that are configured to reschedule by completion date, be sure to specify a completion date if you cancel a generated work order.

Maintenance schedules rely on the completion date to calculate the next scheduled date or usage reading, so no new work orders will be generated if you cancel a generated work order without specifying a completion date.
