Setup for multiple users

All users share the same application directory, but other required files are installed per user:

• Each user must have their own copy of V8Configuration.xml.
• The ArcGIS Pro GeoAdministrator add-in is installed per user.

To create their own copy of V8Configuration.xml and the add-in, each additional user can use the Operations and Regulations Installer to update the existing GeoAdministrator in the same installation directory. Each update will add a copy of the required files for the user who is logged in.

Alternatively, you can manually copy the required files to each user's personal folder.

• V8Configuration.xml is found in the C:\Users\[userid]\AppData\Roaming\Hansen\ArcProExtension folder.
• The add-in is found in the C:\Users\[userid]\Documents\ArcGIS\AddIns\ArcGISPro folder. The file name is GeoAdminArcGISPro.esriAddinX.

To install the add-in, you must first unregister and then re-register the GeoAdministrator assemblies. In the folder where GeoAdministrator is installed, run these batch files as an administrator:

• First run geoUnRegister.bat to unregister the assemblies.
• Then run geoRegister.bat to re-register the assemblies.

Finally, install the GeoAdminArcGISPro add-in.
