Defining a product family

  1. Select System > Agency Personalization > Schema Manager.
  2. In the Enhancement Product Families tree, right-click the Enhancement Product Families root node and select Add Product Family.
  3. Type a name for the product family in the Product Family Name field.
    Operations and Regulations uses the product family name as part of the namespace for each business object within the product family.
    If you plan to create keywords for your agency objects in the Keyword Manager, ensure that the product family name doesn't include any periods (.), as Operations and Regulations is unable to use periods in keyword names.
  4. In the Owner field, type the name of the agency, department, or personnel that will be responsible for this product family.
  5. Click Save.
