Publishing shared resources

When you publish shared resources, you create a SQLite package containing the shared resources for your profile. Other users with the same profile can then download the package rather than downloading the shared resources from the Rest Services one at a time.

Before you can publish shared resources, a package file name must be specified for your profile in the Mobile configuration. The package name is specified using the SharedResourcesPackageName attribute on the Profile node.

  1. In the mobile app, select Settings from the menu.
  2. Tap About in the Settings page, then tap the Infor logo in the About page to open the development tools.
  3. Tap Publish Shared Resources.
  4. Use the check boxes in the Publish Shared Resources dialog box to select the types of shared resources that you want to publish.
    These check boxes are shown:
    • Assets
    • Addresses
    • Parcels
    • Contacts
    • Employees
    • GIS Sync Integration
    • Other Shared Resources
  5. Tap OK.
The app shows a warning that the publishing process can take some time. Tap OK again to continue.
