GIS configuration
Users can look up their work records on the map and, depending on your configuration, they can also view different map layers and create work records from the map. Infor Operations and Regulations Mobile can also be configured to download map data to the local device so that users can continue to work with maps when they go offline.
Most of the GIS settings for the mobile app are stored in the GIS configuration for the Rest Services. In the Configuration Editor, select Rest Services in the Product list, then select GIS in the tree.
The GIS configuration defines a set of maplets, which are the basic units of GIS functionality. Each maplet defines the appearance and behavior of a map or part of a map.
A maplet can inherit from one or more other maplets. If you look at the children of the node, you will see a group of maplets whose ids begin with "mobile," such as "mobile-base," "mobile-search," and "mobile-home." Most of the Mobile maplets inherit from mobile-base, so you can make changes to most of the maps by editing mobile-base.
Many GIS settings are stored in nodes in the GIS configuration. In the configuration, maplets, commands, controls, events, maps, features, and layers can all have options. Each option consists of an ID and a value. You will add and edit options as you configure the map for the mobile app.
