Editing mobile details

After you generate mobile details, the detail pages can be found in the Mobile Resources\detailpages folder in the File Explorer in Infor Operations and Regulations.

In an on-premises environment, the detail pages can also be found in the Resources\Mobile\DetailPages folder within the Rest Services application folder on the server.

You can edit the details to suit your agency's requirements. The pages are defined in XML, using the same structure as the Mobile configuration. If you open a detail page in a text editor, you will see that it consists of a single view with all of the controls laid out vertically. You can add and remove controls, or change the layout of the page, by editing the XML.

After editing details, you must clear the cache on the server and synchronize metadata on your mobile devices for your changes to be displayed in the mobile app. To clear the cache, sign in to the mobile app and select Clear Metadata Cache in the development tools.
