Caching home page data
Infor Operations and Regulations Mobile gives you the option of caching summary data from the queries that are displayed on the home page of the mobile app. To cache home page data, open the Mobile configuration and select the node under . Set the ShouldCacheHomePageData attribute of the node to True.
If this attribute is set to True, only the data that is displayed in the home page queries will be cached on the mobile device, not the complete data that is displayed on all of the tabs of the record viewers. For example, summary work order data will be cached if the user shows a work order query, but not associated resource usage and costs.
With cached home page data, users can continue working seamlessly if the connection to the agency's server is lost. Even though complete information is not available, users can open the cached records, review summary information, and make changes. Any changes made will be stored on the mobile device, and can be synchronized to the server when a connection is available.
If users will never work offline, we recommend setting the ShouldCacheHomePageData attribute to False.
