Generating mobile details

You can use the mobile app to generate mobile details on the server.

When you open records such as applications or inspections in the mobile app, the Rest Services automatically generate any details that are needed for those records, and display them on the Details tab. The Rest Services do not overwrite any existing details, but will generate them if they do not already exist.

When you synchronize metadata in the mobile app, the Rest Services automatically generate all details, and download them to the mobile device. Again, existing details are not overwritten, but the Rest Services will generate all details that do not already exist.

If you need to regenerate existing mobile details after they have been generated, you can delete the files from the File Explorer in Infor Operations and Regulations and then regenerate the details. Mobile details are found in the Mobile Resources\detailpages folder in the File Explorer. For example, you might need to regenerate a mobile detail after updating the detail page definition in Infor Operations and Regulations.

Note: In an on-premises environment, you can use a browser such as Chrome to generate details by calling the Rest Services directly.
