Mobile device requirements

The Infor Field Inspector requires these minimum versions of the supported platforms:

• The Android version of the app is supported on Android 12 and after.
  Note: For on-premises customers, Android 14 will not trust a self-signed certificate on the Rest Services server. To use the mobile app on Android 14 you must deploy a certificate obtained from a certificate authority (CA).

  If a proper certificate is not deployed on the server, the mobile device shows this error message:

  java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found

• The iOS version of the app is supported on iOS 15 and after.
  Note: Dark Mode in iOS is not supported.
• The Windows version of the app is supported on Windows 10, version 1809 and after, and on Windows 11.

Infor Field Inspector is not certified to work with mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) software at this time.

On each platform, the app is designed to work on a 9.7" to 12" tablet. The iPad Mini, with a 7.9" screen, is also supported. You can edit the Mobile configuration and scale the mobile app to fit the size of your agency's devices.

A minimum of 2GB of RAM is required on your device.

On the server, the app requires the Infor Operations and Regulations Suite and Infor Operations and Regulations Rest Services. If the agency network is behind a firewall, the mobile device will also require a VPN client for network access.
