GIS access control

You can use the accessitem attribute on any maplet, layer, or command node to control access to that functionality. Specify one or more access IDs in a comma-separated list. A user must be granted all of the specified permissions to have access to the maplet, layer, or command.

In addition, each map layer and each command can have a profiles option that controls access to the layer based on users' profiles. The user will be given access to the maplet, layer, or command if the user belongs to any of the listed profiles.
