ViewActions node

View actions define actions that will be taken in a view if certain conditions are met, such as showing a tab or setting the value of a control attribute.

See View actions.

The ViewActions node has one or more "Action" nodes as children. Each "Action" node can have these attributes:

Attribute Description
AccessItem List of permissions in Access Control that control access to this action. Specify one or more access IDs in a comma-separated list.
Description Description of the action.
Id Identifier for the action. This will be the display name of the node.

Each "Action" node has one child Commands node, which has one or more "Command" nodes as children. Currently these commands are supported:

  • ListValueFilter: Used to filter the records that are displayed in popup lists.
  • SetControlAttribute: Evaluates a condition and sets the value of a specified control attribute accordingly. For example, you might want to hide a control by setting the Visible attribute to false.
  • ShowTab: Used to show or hide tabs in the mobile app.

Each ListValueFilter node can have these attributes:

Attribute Description
AccessItem List of permissions in Access Control that control access to this command. Specify one or more access IDs in a comma-separated list.
AccessTemplateCondition Access template that will be evaluated to determine whether to apply the filter. The template represents the path to a permission in Infor Operations and Regulations Access Control that the user must be granted.
AccessTemplateListFilter Access template that will be used to filter the records that are displayed in a popup list. The template represents the path to a permission in Infor Operations and Regulations Access Control. The popup list will include all records to which the user has access.
ConditionBind Property that will be evaluated to determine whether to apply the filter. This should be a property of the parent view's model.
ConditionBindValue Value of the property specified by the ConditionBind attribute. If the property matches this value, then the filter will be applied.
ConditionExpression Expression that will be evaluated to determine whether to apply the filter.
ControlId ID of the control that the filter applies to.
Id Unique identifier for the filter.
InverseCondition Indicates whether the specified condition will be inverted. For example, if you use the AccessTemplateCondition attribute to select users with certain permissions, the inverted condition would apply to users who do not have those permissions.
RegularExpression Regular expression that will be used to filter the values that are displayed in the popup list.
Values Comma-separated list of values that will be displayed in the popup list.

Each SetControlAttribute node can have these attributes:

Attribute Description
AccessItem List of permissions in Access Control that control access to this command. Specify one or more access IDs in a comma-separated list.
AccessTemplateCondition Access template that will be evaluated to determine whether to set the control attribute value. The template represents the path to a permission in Infor Operations and Regulations Access Control that the user must be granted.
Attribute Attribute whose value is to be set. This should be an attribute of the control identified by the ControlId attribute.
AttributeValue Value to be assigned to the specified attribute if the condition is met.
AttributeValueExpression Expression that will determine the value to be assigned to the attribute. This can be used in place of the AttributeValue attribute.
ConditionBind Property that will be evaluated to determine whether to set the control attribute value. This should be a property of the parent view's model.
ConditionBindValue Value of the property specified by the ConditionBind attribute. If the property matches this value, then the attribute will be set.
ConditionExpression Expression that will be evaluated to determine whether to set the control attribute value.
ControlId ID of the control. You can enter * to apply this action to all controls in the parent view.
Id Identifier for the command.
InverseCondition Indicates whether the specified condition will be inverted. For example, if you use the AccessTemplateCondition attribute to select users with certain permissions, the inverted condition would apply to users who do not have those permissions.

Each ShowTab node can have these attributes:

Attribute Description
AccessItem List of permissions in Access Control that control access to this command. Specify one or more access IDs in a comma-separated list.
AccessTemplateCondition Access template that will be evaluated to determine whether to show or hide the tab. The template represents the path to a permission in Infor Operations and Regulations Access Control that the user must be granted.
ConditionBind Property that will be evaluated to determine whether to show or hide the tab. This should be a property of the parent view's model.
ConditionBindValue Value of the property specified by the ConditionBind attribute. If the property matches this value, then the tab will be shown.
ConditionExpression Expression that will be evaluated to determine whether to show the tab.
ControlId ID of the TabHost control that this command applies to.
Id Identifier for the command.
InverseCondition Indicates whether the specified condition will be inverted. For example, if you use the AccessTemplateCondition attribute to select users with certain permissions, the inverted condition would apply to users who do not have those permissions.
Show Indicates whether the specified tab should be shown if the condition is met. Most tabs are visible by default, so you would set the value to False to hide a tab.
TabId ID of the tab that this command applies to.
