Report configuration

Infor Operations and Regulations Mobile can show reports that are defined in Infor Operations and Regulations.

The report is sent to the mobile device in PDF format and opens in the native PDF viewer. The report can also be printed from the mobile device.

To set up a report for the mobile app, you must first define it in the Reports Manager in Infor Operations and Regulations. Mobile reports must be defined under the General Reports node. They must be Birst, Crystal embedded, formula, IDM document output, Infor Reporting, or SSRS reports, and the report output must be a PDF. Reports in the mobile app can take no more than one parameter.

Note: Birst reports that you want to display in the mobile app must be Designer reports. Dashboard reports are not supported for general reports.

When you add the report in the Reports Manager, take note of the Display Text field. This text will be used to identify the report in the Mobile configuration.

Note: If you are configuring a formula report, the report might not produce any output that is displayed to the user. For example, the formula might send an email rather than showing a PDF. If there is no report output, be sure to specify a message either in the Run Message field in the Reports Manager or within the formula. This message will be shown when the user runs a formula report in the mobile app.
