Logging in

In a multi-tenant environment, the mobile app supports single sign on (SSO) through Infor OS Portal.

To log in, you can either specify your username and password, scan a QR code or download your credentials. You may receive the QR code in an email from an administrator, or you can find it in Infor OS Portal.

Creating the QR code for the app

You must create a QR code in the multi-tenant (MT) site, then use the QR code in the Field Operations and Regulations app to allow the app to connect to the MT site.

  1. Log in to Infor OS Portal then select API Gateway.
  2. On the accordion menu on the left, select Authorized Apps then click the + icon.
  3. Specify the name for the QR code. We recommend to create something that starts with Infor Field Operations and Regulations.
  4. In the Type field, select Mobile (Android), Mobile (iOS), or Mobile (Windows).
  5. Specify a description.
  6. Under Redirect URL, specify com.infor.fieldopsandregs://callback.
  7. Under Download URL, specify http://www.infor.com.
Note: The download URL is only applicable for Windows and Android.
  8. Set the Issue Refresh Token option to on.
  9. Return to the top and click the Save icon.
  10. Click Email QR Code to Users, then specify a user where the QR code will be sent.
  11. Click SEND.
  12. Optionally, you can click Download Credentials to download the .ionapi file.
Note: The option to download the .ionapi file is available to Windows only.
