Adding a detail page for an asset type

If you want to use a detail page for multiple asset types, you can add a global detail page.

See Adding a global asset detail page

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > [asset module].
  2. On any tab, under Configuration, click Detail Page Setup.
The same page is used to define details for all asset types, so you can open it from any tab.
  3. In the Assets tree, browse to the node for the asset type for which you're defining the detail.
  4. Click Add above the grid.
  5. In the Detail Page Title field, specify the title that is displayed on the tab.
Note: Each detail page must have a unique title.
  6. Load a detail page into the Name of Detail Page field.
Click the popup button to the right of the Name of Detail Page field.
    • To use a new page, select Create New Page, click Next, and use the Page Builder to create your page.
    • To use an existing page, select Use Existing Page, select the correct detail page from the Details Pages popup, and click Select.

In the Name of Detail Page field, Operations and Regulations shows the detail that you either created or selected.

  7. Optionally, specify a condition formula in the Detail Page Formula field.
The formula determines whether the detail is shown in the InfoViewer for a particular asset.
  8. Click Save.
Operations and Regulations saves the detail page setup, adds the tab to the appropriate asset InfoViewer, and shows the detail page in the grid. The next time you open an asset InfoViewer with an associated detail page, the new tab is displayed at the end of the list of tabs.
