Duplicating a work order

Duplicating a work order is useful when you want to create a new work order based on an existing one. Infor Operations and Regulations copies all of the information from the existing work order, and you can then make changes as required.

Note: The milestone at which the duplicate work order begins depends on your agency's configuration. It can start at either the first milestone for the activity type or the same milestone as the original work order. This is configured using the Work Management node in the AssetManagement configuration.
  1. Load the work order you want to duplicate in the Work Order InfoViewer.
  2. Select the Summary tab.
  3. Click Duplicate Work Order in the Quick Links panel.
    Note: If you're using the classic layout of the Work Order InfoViewer, click Action and select Duplicate Work Order.
  4. Change the information for the new work order.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify any additional information and click Save.
