Connecting to Infor Operations and Regulations

Because the technique of accessing Infor Operations and Regulations records via URLs bypasses the Infor Operations and Regulations login screen, you must first connect to Infor Operations and Regulations.

The first option is to set up single sign on for Infor Operations and Regulations. Single sign on means users’ Infor Operations and Regulations accounts are linked to their domain accounts so they don’t have to enter a separate user name and password to log in.

The other option is to use the LoginService in Infor Operations and Regulations Web Services to generate a ticket.

Getting a ticket is equivalent to logging in to Infor Operations and Regulations. You specify a provider and enter a user name and password, and the LoginService returns a ticket, which is an encrypted string that provides access to Infor Operations and Regulations. Each ticket is valid for 24 hours. See "Web Services" in the Infor Operations and Regulations Installation and Technical Reference Library for more information.
