Email settings
Some types of reports, such as IDM document output and keyword reports, can be delivered by email, either as an attachment or in the body of the email. Birst Designer reports can only be emailed, because they cannot be displayed directly in Infor Operations and Regulations. Emails are sent from the address specified in the sender attribute in the node in the Hansen8 configuration.
You can specify these email settings when editing a report in the Reports Manager:
- The Email Method list defines how the report will be emailed. If you select Attachment, Infor Operations and Regulations will send the report as an attachment. If you select Body, the report will be embedded in the body of the email. You can also select None.
- The Email Component field indicates the component that Infor Operations and Regulations will use to determine the email address that a report should be sent to. For example, a building application report might use the email address of the primary applicant. You can click the popup button to the right of this field to select from a list of available business objects.
The email settings are not available for general reports. For Birst reports, they are only available if you select Designer in the Module list.
