Calling applets with URLs

For example, suppose a crew leader wants to send the maintenance supervisor information on a work order that his crew has completed. If the crew leader sends the supervisor the work order number, the supervisor can open Infor Operations and Regulations and look up the work order.

However, the crew leader also has the option of emailing the supervisor a direct link to the work order. The supervisor can then click the link in the email to load the selected work order in the InfoViewer.

To open a single record, your URL will call the same applet that is used to display that type of record in Infor Operations and Regulations, such as WorkOrderViewerApplet to display a work order. There is also a special applet called CustomViewerApplet that you can use to display a list of addresses, parcels, properties, or assets in a grid.
