Before the transfer

In an on-premises environment, we recommend that you back up the database and the affected application directories for the destination site before you being a transfer using the Definition Manager.

The directories that you should back up are the Config and Enhancement directories within the Infor Public Sector application directory.

Note: The Definition Manager is supported for SQL Server databases only. It is not supported if you are using an Oracle database for your site.
