Disassembling kits

A disassemble transaction is the reverse of an assemble transaction. When you disassemble kits, Infor Operations and Regulations decreases the quantity of kits on hand and increases the quantities of the parts that make up the kits.

  1. Select Inventory > Materials Management > Materials Manager.
  2. Specify your stock area in the Stock Area field.
  3. Click the Inventory tab.
  4. Look up the parts that you want to disassemble.
  5. Select one or more kits in the grid and click Disassemble.
    The Bulk Disassemble Transaction dialog box is shown. The parts that you selected are displayed in the grid at the bottom of the dialog box.
  6. Specify the date of the disassemble transaction in the Date field.
  7. For each part in the grid, specify the number of kits you're disassembling.
  8. Click Save.
