Creating an asset group

GeoAdministrator makes it easy for you to create an asset group in Infor Operations and Regulations by selecting the assets you want to include on the map.

  1. Use any of the ArcMap selection tools to select one or more assets on the map.
  2. Click Display Selected Infor PS Features.
    GeoAdministrator shows the Feature List and lists the selected assets in the grid.
  3. Click Action and select Create Asset Group.
  4. Type a unique name for the asset group in the Group ID field.
  5. Type a description in the Description field.
  6. Click Add.
    GeoAdministrator creates an asset group for the selected assets and shows the new asset group record in the Infor PS Viewer.
