For Infor Operations and Regulations to advance an application through its permitting process and to automatically add fees, reviews, and other items to an application, the application type must have an initial milestone.
- Select .
- In the tree, browse to the node for the correct application type.
- Right-click the node and select Create a Milestone.
- Type a name for the milestone in the Milestone field.
The name must be unique within the application type but can be reused in other application types.
- Select the Initial Application Milestone check box.
- Under Next Milestone, specify the milestone that follows the current milestone within your permitting process.
If the next milestone will always follow the current milestone, specify the name of that milestone in the Default Next Milestone field. If you want Infor Operations and Regulations to calculate the next milestone based on a formula, specify the name of the formula in the Next Milestone Formula field.
- Specify any other information about the milestone.
You can indicate the application status that Infor Operations and Regulations will assign to an application at this milestone, such as Open or None. You can select the type of status date that Infor Operations and Regulations will use, such as Processed or None. Among other properties, you can specify 1 in the Display Order field so that Infor Operations and Regulations shows this milestone first in the tree. You can also type any standard operating procedures that your agency should follow.
- Click Save.
Infor Operations and Regulations closes the dialog box and saves the milestone to the application type. The new milestone is displayed in the tree.
- Define the necessary supporting information for the milestone.
You can define condition types, fee types, inspection types, required licenses, review types, and details that will be added to an application when it reaches this milestone. You can also define the status checks that Infor Operations and Regulations will run.
