Deleting an application type

Note: You can't delete an application type that is being used for building applications that are still active within your permitting process. You must first either delete those applications or change their application type.

Select Building Permits > Setup > Application Workflow.
In the Application Types tree, browse to the application type that you want to delete.
Delete all supporting information for the application type, such as reviews, fees, and milestones.
Under "Application Type", and under its subnodes Details and Code Violation Groups, click each node and then delete all items that are displayed in the grid on the right. If an item is currently in use in your applications, you must first delete the items in those applications. Then delete any milestone associated with the application type. If no items are currently used in your agency's applications, Infor Operations and Regulations deletes the items from the application type.
Right-click the "Application Type" node and select Delete Application Type.
Infor Operations and Regulations deletes the application type from your list of application types and removes it from the Application Types tree. If the application type is used by any existing applications, Infor Operations and Regulations shows a message telling you that the application type is currently in use and cannot be deleted. To delete the application type, you must first either delete the applications that use this application type or change their application type.
