Drawer deposits

If a cash drawer exceeds its cash limit during the course of a shift, Monitor Cashiering shows an alert icon Over Limit icon in the Cash Drawers tree. When you click the root Drawers node, Infor Operations and Regulations also shows an icon Over Limit icon for drawers that are over the limit in the All Available Cash Drawers grid.

To remove the excess funds, you can create a drawer deposit transaction. Each deposit transaction records the amount of a particular tender type that was removed from the drawer.

Note: You can only make a deposit if the drawer status is Active or Inactive.
