Penalties

You can either assess penalties for all eligible delinquent line items or limit the line items included in the run by entering parameters such as a bill type or cycle. You can set up Infor Operations and Regulations to generate penalty runs automatically using the Batch Manager, or you can use Create Penalty Run to generate a run manually. Note that if you create a run manually, Infor Operations and Regulations will still add a task for the run to the Batch Manager.

A penalty run is a group of penalty or interest charges for delinquent bills that were generated as a batch using Create Penalty Run. Infor Operations and Regulations also creates a penalty run when you create a one-off penalty for an account, bill, or line item, or when you project penalties for an account, bill, or line item.
