Generating work orders from a maintenance schedule

  1. Select Asset Management > Maintenance > Lookup Unit Maintenance Schedules.
  2. Look up the unit maintenance schedules that you want to use to generate work orders.
  3. Select the correct maintenance schedule.
    Note: You can select more than one maintenance schedule in the list to generate multiple work orders simultaneously.
  4. Click Action, and select Generate Work Orders.
    The Select Date Range dialog box shows today's date.
  5. Specify the date through which you want to generate work orders in the Generate work orders through a due date of field.
    Work orders will not be generated outside of the date range indicated by the Cycle From and Cycle To dates in the unit maintenance schedule.
  6. Click OK.
    A work order is generated for each unit schedule that you selected and a list of the work orders and with their activity, asset, and scheduled/due date is shown. You can click the Work Order # link to view and update a work order in the Work Order InfoViewer.
  7. When you're finished viewing the list of work orders, click OK.
