Asset inspection exchange templates
The inspection data that is exchanged for a specific inspection type is defined in an inspection exchange template. The template defines what inspection data is exported or imported and how that data is transformed.
Available templates are defined on the node in the AssetManagement configuration. These standard templates are provided:
- Sewer main
- Sidewalk
- Street segment
Note: These are the only asset types that are supported out of the box, but the inspection exchange functionality can be configured for additional asset types as needed. You can contact Infor Global Professional Services for assistance.
Each template has these components:
- The export and import templates are XML files that define the data to be exported and imported.
- Export and import transform files use XSLT to convert the Infor Operations and Regulations data to and from the structure used by the Access database.
- The template database defines the structure of the Access database. The export process starts by copying the template to the specified location and then filling in the data.
The files for each of the standard templates are in the folder in the Infor Operations and Regulations File Explorer.
