Calculating the cost to reach an LOS goal

  1. Load the LOS project you want into the Level of Service Calculator.
    To open the LOS Calculator, click Lookup LOS Projects on the Asset Analysis page. Then look up the project that you want to work with and click the link in the Project Code column to open the LOS Calculator.
  2. To calculate the cost for selected asset groups, select the correct asset groups in the Assets grid. You can also calculate the cost for all assets.
  3. Click the Selected or All link to the right of Calculate cost to reach LOS Goal.
    A dialog box shows the calculation results. For each asset group, Infor Operations and Regulations shows the required budget to reach the LOS goal, the difference between the required budget and the amount set aside by your agency, the number of assets that can be upgraded to meet the LOS goal, and the percentage of assets in the group that will remain below the goal.
    Note: You can click the Create link to create a group project for affected assets, the Graph link to graph the present and projected LOS distribution for selected assets, and the View link to view affected assets in the appropriate asset InfoViewer. You can also print your calculation results.
