Integration configuration

The Integration configuration is used to set up integrations between Infor Operations and Regulations and external systems that manage user and employee information, such as Infor HR Talent or Infor Federation Services.

The root Integration Configuration node has one child: User and Employee Integration.

User and Employee Integration node

The User and Employee Integration node can have four children: Cloud Identities, GHR, IFS Attribute Service, and User Search Parameter.

Cloud Identities node

The Cloud Identities node has no attributes and one child Mappings node. See below for information about the Mappings node.

GHR node

The GHR node is used to configure the integration between Infor Operations and Regulations and Infor HR Talent. See "Resources" in the Infor Operations and Regulations User and Administration Library for more information about the HR Talent integration.

The GHR node has these attributes:

Attribute Description
Enabled Set to True to enable the HR Talent integration for Infor Operations and Regulations.
ION API Name Specify the name of ION API authorized application to use for authentication. You can create a new authorized application if one doesn't already exist.

See "Agency Personalization" in the Infor Operations and Regulations User and Administration Library for more information about authorized applications.

Mapping Formula Name Specify the formula to use to map user records in the external source to users in Infor Operations and Regulations. This formula is defined for the UserEmployeeIntegrationMapping event of the Core.AccessControl.AccessUser object.

The GHR node has these children: Employee Search Parameter and Mappings.

The Employee Search Parameter node is used to map users in IFS or Ming.le to employees in HR Talent. The Employee Search Parameter node has these attributes:

Attribute Description
GHR Employee Field Name Specify the HR Talent employee field that you are mapping to the external field. This is a property of the EmployeeResponse class in HR Talent.
Search Source External source to search for employee and user records. You can specify MINGLE or IFSATTRIBUTESERVICE.
Search Source Field Name Specify the field in the external source that you are mapping to the specified HR Talent field.

See below for information about the Mappings node.

IFS Attribute Service node

The IFS Attribute Service node has these attributes:

Attribute Description
ION API Name Specify the name of ION API authorized application to use for authentication. You can create a new authorized application if one doesn't already exist.

See "Agency Personalization" in the Infor Operations and Regulations User and Administration Library for more information about authorized applications.

Mapping Formula Name Specify the formula to use to map user records in the external source to users in Infor Operations and Regulations. This formula is defined for the UserEmployeeIntegrationMapping event of the Core.AccessControl.AccessUser object.

The IFS Attribute Service node has one child Mappings node. See below for information about the Mappings node.

User Search Parameter node

The User Search Parameter is used to map users in IFS or Ming.le to users in Infor Operations and Regulations

The User Search Parameter node has these attributes:

Attribute Description
IPS Access User Column Bind Specify the Infor Operations and Regulations user property that you are mapping to the external field. The root business object for this property is Core.AccessControl.AccessUser. For example, if you specify WindowsName
Search Source External source to search for employee and user records. You can specify MINGLE or IFSATTRIBUTESERVICE.
Search Source Field Name Specify the field in the external source that you are mapping to the specified Infor Operations and Regulations property.

Mappings node

The Mappings node can be a child of the GHR node, the IFS Attribute Service node, or the Cloud Identities node. It is used to map properties from the external source to properties of the AccessUser, Employee, Contact, and ContactIdentity business objects in Infor Operations and Regulations.

Each Mappings has one or more Mapping nodes as children.

Each child Mapping node has these attributes:

Attribute Description
Allow data truncation Indicates whether the value from the external source field will be truncated if it is longer than the maximum length of the Infor Operations and Regulations property.

If the value is True, then excessively long values will be truncated to fit the Infor Operations and Regulations field. If False, the value from the source field will not be used if it is too long.

IPS Access User Column Bind Specify the Infor Operations and Regulations user property that you are mapping to the external field. The root business object for this property is Core.AccessControl.AccessUser.
Source Field Name Specify the field in the external source that you are mapping to the specified Infor Operations and Regulations property.
