Work Order InfoViewer settings

The appearance of the Work Order InfoViewer depends on the settings that you select under Work Management Preferences > Work Order Summary in your My Infor preferences.

The InfoViewer settings are found on these nodes under the Work Order Summary node:

  • Panels
  • Quick Links

Panels node

The Work Order Panel Display Permissions grid determines which panels are displayed on the Summary tab of the InfoViewer. The four optional panels are Work Order Status, Work Order Information, Safety Messages, and Scheduled Employees. You can rearranged the records in the grid to change the order in which the panels are displayed.

Note: In addition to the optional panels, there are three standard panels on the Summary tab: Costs Graph, Quick Links, and Tasks Graph.

Each panel is only displayed if it has information to show.

Above the panels grid, you can optionally select the Information Tab First check box to show the Information tab before the Summary tab in the InfoViewer. By default the Summary tab is first.

If the Retire the Classic Work Order InfoViewer Layout feature toggle is not enabled, you can select the Use Classic Layout check box to use the original design of the Work Order InfoViewer.

The classic layout does not include the Summary tab, and all of the tabs are always present. The redesigned layout only shows tabs if there is information to show on those tabs. None of the other settings on the Panels node apply to the classic layout.

Quick Links node

The Quick Links node controls the links that are displayed in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab of the InfoViewer. There are a number of standard quick links in addition to the optional ones that you can select in My Infor.
