Adding a global detail page

In addition to the details that you define for individual activities, you can use the Global Settings button in the Activity Workflow page to define details that are displayed on work orders for all activity types.

  1. Select Work Management > Setup > Activity Workflow.
  2. Click the Global Settings button.
  3. On the Work Orders tab, click Add above the Global Work Order Detail Pages grid.
  4. Specify this information:
    Description
    Provide a brief description of the activity detail.
    Detail Page Title
    Provide a brief description of the activity detail.
    Display Formula
    Optionally, specify a formula to determine whether the detail is shown.
    Note: Display formulas are not supported in the mobile app, so entering a formula is not allowed if you select IPS & Mobile or Mobile from the Display Module list.
    Name of Detail Page
    To load a detail page for this detail, click the popup button to the right of this field.

    To use a new page, select Create New Page, click Next, and create your page in the Page Builder.

    To use an existing page, select Use Existing Page, select the correct detail page from the Detail Types popup, and click Select.

    Display Module
    Indicates whether the detail is shown in Infor Public Sector only, in the mobile app only, or both. You can select IPS, IPS & Mobile, or Mobile.
    Bulk Update Criteria
    Use this section to define detail pages that are displayed only in the work order bulk update process.

    Select the Bulk Update Only check box to indicate that a detail should only be displayed when users are bulk updating work orders. You can also limit the detail page to bulk updates for a particular activity, asset type, or unit type.

    Display Conditions
    Use the check boxes in this section to limit a global work order detail page to selected asset types or activities.

    • Select Display for All Asset Types to show the detail on work orders for all asset types.
    • Select Display for No Asset to show the detail on work orders that do not have an asset.
    • Use the check boxes under Permissible Asset Types to show the detail for selected asset types.
    • Select Display for All Activities to show the detail on work orders for all activities.
    • Use the check boxes under Permissible Activities to show the detail for selected activities.
  5. Click Save.
