Expiring budget numbers

You can't delete budget numbers, but you can expire them. Expired budget numbers are no longer available for use in Infor Operations and Regulations. You cannot create any new records in Infor Operations and Regulations that reference an expired record.

Note: When you expire a record, Infor Operations and Regulations enters the current date as the expiration date. Records expire at midnight on the expiration date, so the record will still be active in the system until the next day.
  1. Select Resources > Budget > Budget Number Setup.
Infor Operations and Regulations shows a list of all existing budget numbers defined by your agency.
  2. In the Budget Numbers grid, select each budget number you want to expire.
  3. Click Action and select Expire Budget Number.
Infor Operations and Regulations expires each selected budget number. If you've selected Active from the Status list, Infor Operations and Regulations also removes the expired budget numbers from the grid. To see the expired budget numbers, select All or Expired from the Status list and click Search. You can also activate expired budget numbers if you want to start using them again.
